I hit rock bottom in the summer of 2015, both in my personal life and in my career. I was having emotional and mental breakdowns all the time. I lost control of my thoughts and my feelings.
On the outside, it seemed as if I had everything together. It looked like I was running a successful business, was in a great relationship, and that I was on the path I should be.
In reality, my self-worth equalled to the success of my business. I didn’t know what my identity was anymore. The stress got overwhelming and the anxiety got a lot worse. My life was falling apart and I knew that if I didn’t make a change, that I would lose everything.
How I spent my time day to day wasn’t fulfilling or making me happy anymore, and everyday I would tell myself that I was going to make a change and do something different... But then I wouldn’t get those things done and suddenly the day had passed and I thought to myself, “I’ll do it tomorrow...” Then tomorrow turned into the next day and the next day and the next day after that. And before I knew it, days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and eventually I looked back on all the years and asked myself, “Do I actually want to make a change already and stop wasting my time and others? And if so, what am I going to do about it because clearly I can’t do it on my own.
Then one day I decided that enough was enough and I had to do something about it. To take control of my life again. To get my power back. I got coached and went through a transformative personal development journey. I got training and went to workshops. I read a ton of books and listened to every self-help audiobook and podcast. And everyday I did the work and I solved it. It wasn’t easy, but it was certainly worth it. Because in the end, if you’re not happy with yourself, how could you be happy with anyone else? Then I realized lots of other women go through this too and I decided to dedicate my life to helping women through this transition.
Since then I’ve helped a lot of successful driven women who were in loving, long-term relationships and I noticed some patterns. What I discovered was that what holds them back professionally, was almost always due to what they weren’t confronting personally. By digging deep and letting go of what they were holding on to as children, they were now free to be who they set out to be in the world, without caring about what others thought of them. Wouldn’t that be freeing? And who wouldn’t want freedom?
It all starts with an action plan that helps you get clear on where you currently are, where you want to go, and what to do about it.
I’d love to help you create a step-by-step blueprint to support you in reaching your desired goals (both personally and professionally), identify your blind spots, and help you develop some tools that you can use on your own to facilitate change when you’re feeling challenged or reactive. This way, we can design a fulfilling life where you feel in your power to contribute your gifts to the world and impact people in a positive way.
